Dr. John-John Brian Lottering

Dr. Lottering completed 6 years of full-time study and a 2 year Master’s Research Dissertation at the University of Natal and qualified with a Master’s Degree in Homeopathy (M.Tech: Hom) in 2001.  Dr. Lottering is legally registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa as a homeopathic practitioner.

Dr. Lottering currently practices within an integrated medicine model combining: Homeopathy, Biopuncture, Nutritional Advice, Live Blood Analysis, Mineral and Vitamin Supplementation, as well as Genetic Testing (Geneway®). He uses the conventional medical diagnostic model, laboratory testing as well as live and dry blood analysis as diagnostic tools. 

Dr. Lottering further has vast experience in the natural management of sports injuries and has been fortunate enough to treat junior provincial rugby players for sports injuries sustained and general well-being. He further has presented several training seminars to fellow homeopaths, pharmacy staff, nurses and nutraceutical companies.

Dr. Lottering is well-equipped to deal with day to day ailments such as the common cold, tummy upsets etc., but has a particular interest in treating stubborn conditions such as Hormonal imbalances, Insulin Resistance, Adrenal Exhaustion, Hormonal Imbalances, Andropause and thyroid issues. Furthermore, he has immense experience in the natural management of Sports injuries by means of Biopuncture, mesotherapy as well as natural repairing agents.



Your first consultation with Dr. Lottering (approximately 1 hour) will include an in-depth reason for your visit, a thorough check of your current health status, your medical and family history, and a holistic look at your physical and emotional state. Depending on the reason for your visit you may be examined clinically, and if need be, you may be referred for blood tests, scans or other investigations.  During your first consult, a Nutritional live blood analysis will also be conducted in order to gain insight of your nutritional status at cellular level thereby enabling Dr to correct nutritional deficiencies and the pH within the body.

A follow-up consultation will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes. A holistic approach will be used to evaluate changes to your health, and thus changes to your treatment, should it be indicated. A further live blood analysis will also be done to once again evaluate health on a cellular level. The goal, where possible, is to get to taking the least amount of medication needed to stay healthy.


Medical Aid

The practice is contracted out of medical aid schemes. You are required to submit the invoice to your medical aid for reimbursement. All relevant diagnostic, treatment and medication codes are provided on each invoice

Each person is treated individually based on their particular symptoms.
